The fall experience includes:
Grades Kโ2: Students explore motors, sensors, and the engineering design process before creating a LEGO prototype for their own tiny business idea and presenting it at our Pup Tank showcase.
Grades 3โ5: Students build and program LEGO SPIKE robots, complete engineering challenges, develop solutions to real-world problems, and present their creations at the Wize Robotics Market.
AI Proficiency: Students will develop practical AI proficiency, including how to:
- Evaluate whether an AI-generated answer is accurate or makes sense
- Recognize possible bias or incomplete information
- Know when human judgment, original research, or adult guidance is required
- Use AI as a creative partner without replacing coding or independent thinking
Enrollment requirement: Must be a student at Phyllis E. Williams Spanish Immersion School to enroll!
Withdrawal policy: A four-week written notice is required to remove your student(s) from the 12-week course. Parents are responsible for tuition payments up to and including the final week of enrollment. Due to the fixed nature of this 12-week program, withdrawing will not negate the commitment to the scheduled payment installments for the remainder of the notice period.
